Johnny Clark recorded a hole-in-one Wednesday, May 7 at the Lebanon Golf & Country Club. Clark, a club member, aced hole No. 4, playing at 120 yards. Witnesses included: Jimmy Wright, Robbie Harp and Gwynn Lanius.
Free clinic set May 10
Lebanon Youth Football & Cheer, Inc. will hold a free one-day clinic for prospective football players and cheerleaders who are considering participating in the fall 2014 season. Boys and girls ages 5 - 12 are welcome to attend the camp which will be held Saturday, May 10 between the hours of 1-5 p.m. The non-contact camp will be held on the football field located adjacent to Fairview Church on Leeville Pike. LHS hoops golf tourney
Hunters Point Golf Course will be the site of the annual Lebanon Blue Devils Golf Classic -- a fund-raising event for the boys and girls basketball teams at Lebanon High. The four-person scramble event will be held Friday, May 16 and will feature a 1 p.m. shotgun start. On-site registration and lunch begins at 12 Noon. Cost is just $65 per player / $26 per team. WBMS golf tournament
The softball and baseball teams at Winfree Bryant Middle School are holding a benefit golf tournament Friday, May 23 at the Pine Creek Golf Course. Entry fee is $100 per person for the four-man scramble and includes lunch, range balls, multiple flight, on course contests as well as prizes and awards. MJHS free football camp
Mt. Juliet High's football program will offer a free football camp May 22, 23 and 24. Thursday and Friday, May 22 and 23 the camp is for boys in grades 3-8 and will be held from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Saturday, May 24 the camp will be held 8 a.m. - 12 Noon and will include instruction for boys K thorough grade 8. All campers should be dressed in athletic shorts (preferably black) and T-shirts (preferably plain white). Campers should bring both athletic shoes and football shoes for indoor and outdoor participation. This is a non-contact camp. Flyers are available at the MJHS main office.

Cumberland university will host kids camps for baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball and wrestling this summer. The Bulldog baseball camps run from June 9 to July 3. MJ girls basketball camp
The annual Bearette girls basketball camp will be held July 7, 8 and 9 at Mt. Juliet High School. Cost is $60 per camper for girls in grades 1 through 8.
