LHS baseball First Pitch Dinner
The second annual Lebanon High baseball First Pitch Dinner will be held Thursday, March 5 at 6:30 pm at Immanuel Baptist Church. The guest speaker will be former MLB pitcher and Lebanon resident Jeff Bennett. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased from any LHS baseball player or at the door the night of the dinner.

MJHS volleyball skills camp
Mt. Juliet High volleyball coach Jennifer Wilson invites girls in grades 4-8 to attend a series of volleyball skills camps set for seven upcoming Saturdays. These one-hour sessions will be held in the MJHS volleyball gym at 10 a.m. Dates and topics include: Feb. 21, General Skills; March 21, General Skills; April 18 & 25th General Skills; May 2, Passing/Setting/Serving; May 9, Attacking/Blocking; May 16, Positions/Rotations.

UPDATE -- baseball dinner moved to March 19 -- The Cumberland University baseball team will host its annual Kickoff Dinner and at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 19 in the Benton Jennings Center on the CU campus. The evening will include a silent and live auction of baseball memorabilia as well as other donated items, with all proceeds going to the CU baseball program. Cost of the event is $25 per person. City of Lebanon T-ball signups
T-ball signups for the City of Lebanon's Parks & Recreation Department spring and summer league are being accepted. Cost is $40 per player. Onsite signups will be held Saturday, Feb. 28 between the hours of 9-11 a.m. at the Harold Dean Greer Recreation Center in the Baird Park Complex.

Watertown signups slated
Signups for the Watertown summer community baseball / softball leagues will be held Saturday, Feb. 28 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Watertown City Hall. Online applications are available at The league offers T-ball for ages 5-6 and 7-8 with baseball and softball leagues for boys and girls ages 9-12 and 13-17. A participation fee will be charged.
