All vehicle emissions testing centers in Wilson, Sumner, Rutherford and Williamson counties will close on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4 in celebration of Independence Day. All stations will resume testing on Monday, July 6 at their regular scheduled hours.
"Planning ahead helps keep waiting to a minimum," said Prentiss Taylor, program manager for the Tennessee vehicle inspection program administered by Envirotest Systems. "It's a good idea to take vehicles mid-week when testing volume is usually lighter and to avoid testing in the final days of the month."
The Wilson County testing station's regular scheduled hours are Monday and Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Wednesday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
