VOLLEYBALL -- LHS sweeps Hendersonville

WCHS hosts Lebanon Thursday --
Lebanon High's volleyball team improved to 11-2 overall and 7-2 in District 9-AAA following Tuesday's 3-0 home win over Hendersonville. Game scores: 25-9, 25-20 and 25-14.

Nicole Painter thumped home 15 kills and had three blocks while Zia Hamilton passed out 26 assists with six digs and six aces.

Briana Clemmons had six kills, four digs and three aces; Jasmine Fuqua had five kills and nine digs; Erin Arnold finished with six digs and three servive aces; Lily Baldwin had five digs and two aces.

LHS will be on the road at Wilson Central High Thursday, Sept. 17. First serve is set for 6 p.m.

WHS sweeps Red Boiling Springs -
WATERTOWN -- Watertown's Tigerettes rolled to a 3-0 win over Red Boiling Springs Tuesday, improving to 6-1 in District 8-A and 14-7 overall. Game scores: 25-17, 25-18 and 25-15.

Paige Mock led the way with eight kills, five digs and four service aces. Brenna Luttrell had seven kills and five aces while Alaina Johnson had six kills, four digs and two aces.

Emily Woodsen finished with 18 digs and two aces; Bailey Griffin served four aces and four digs while Victoria Foster had 12 digs.

Station Camps sweeps WCHS -
GALLATIN -- Wilson Central fell to 10-12 on the season and 2-6 in District 9-AAA following Tuesday's 3-0 loss at Station Camp. game scores: 25-9, 25-18 and 25-22.

Delaney McCorkle led the Lady Wildcats with 12 kills, four digs and two blocks. Megan belcher had 23 assists and three digs while Taylor Tucker finished with six kills, a block and an ace.

Loren Schmitt had 13 digs and three aces while Kendal Tomlin had 21 digs.

WCHS will host Lebanon Thursday, Sept. 17. First serve is set for 6 p.m.

Mt. Juliet sweeps Lady Wave -
GALLATIN -- Mt. Julietmoved to 4-4 in District 9-AAA and 9-9 overall following Tuesday's 3-0 win at Gallatin. Game scores: 25-14. 25-14 and 25-9.

Hitter Tavie Bell led the Lady Bears with 10 kills and five blocks while Michelle Mason had 13 assists.

Samantha Khoury finished with nine digs and SaraGrace Wilson served four aces.

Mt. Juliet will visit District 9-AAA co-leader Portland Thursday, Sept. 17.
