Watertown High School will present its fall drama production, "Daddy's Girl," on Thursday, Dec. 15, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 17, at 2:30 p.m. in the WHS Auditorium.
Come and meet Bernard Muloovy, owner of Maudie's Diner - named for his late wife. After 25 years alone, Muloovy is reunited with his long-lost daughter, thanks to the prayers of his wife, whose ghost refuses to leave the diner until her husband finds the true meaning of life and love.
The two-act play will include a 15-minute intermission as well as plenty of laughs and lessons for the entire family. Admission is $5.
The cast includes: Brianna Young as E.L. Edinbury, Sean Waldron as Alex, Kaila Wesselman as Daisy, Hannah Williams as Violet, Zoey Layhew as Lizzy, Kristin Ellis as Big Girl Ella, Katie Cloud as Darlynn, Kalei Kimball as Betsy, John Weiner as Bernard, Chance Gwaltney as Walter, Mandy Byrd as Maudie, Swai Bowen as Bobbie, Lincoln Orrand as Michael and Josie Kohr as Angelica. The play is directed by Brandy Holcomb, and the assistant director is Alyssa Bond. Stage manager for the production is Jada Moss, and assistant stage managers are Heath Price and Mattie Ray. Karrington Dodd and McKenna George will serve as prompters; Kayla Medeiros will be sound booth and lights manager; Fabienne Weise will work the curtain; the set design manager is Stealth Moss, and the set design crew is Bryant Felkins, Heath Price and Savanah Gross. Bella Pace is the props and costume manager, and the publicity crew includes Dodd, George, Mederios, Weise and Jessica Haynes.
