Wilson Bank & Trust has continued a tradition of support for the American Cancer Society this year with a Relay For Life corporate donation and employee fund-raising efforts.

The bank recently presented a $2,500 donation to Relay representatives, one of several ways WB&T contributes to Relay For Life. Staff-organized fund-raisers at the bank this year include a cookbook sale, plant sales, bake sales and silent auctions. Several WB&T employees, including committee chairperson Nancy Spears, also volunteer their time to help organize the local Relay event.

Wilson Bank has participated in and contributed to Relay For Life of Wilson County since 1996.

Relay For Life begins on Friday, June 10, at 6 p.m., behind Wilson Bank & Trust's Main Office in Lebanon. Teams and individuals can register to participate or donate to the American Cancer Society at This year's event, themed "Carnival for a Cure," will offer a family friendly atmosphere with special activities for children in addition to traditional Relay ceremonies.
