GLADEVILLE -- A packed house got more than their money's worth as host Wilson Central came from behind to down Mt. Juliet 57-51 in the District 9-AAA finale for both teams.

Jacob Williams scored 27 points to help lift the Wildcats to the win for a Middle Tennessee TV audience on WUXP-30.

Wilson Central improved to 20-5 overall / 12-2 in the district while Mt. Juliet slipped to 15-11 / 8-6.

GLADEVILLE -- Mt. Juliet outscored Wilson Central 12-0 in the third quarter and went on to down their arch rivals 61-38 Friday.

The Lady Bears got 24 points from Ronjanae DeGray and 20 from Sally McCabe and upped their overall record to 22-1 / 14-0 in District 9-AAA.

Wilson Central was led 12 points from Kendall Spray and 11 from Kayla Jackson.

Lebanon sweeps at Portland
PORTLAND -- Madison Sloan knocked down a pair of free throws with 3.2 seconds remaining in regulation to lift Lebanon to a 57-56 win at determined Portland Friday night.

A senior, Sloan led all scorers with 30 points as the Devilettes improved to 12-12 overall / 7-7 in District 9-AAA.

PORTLAND -- Lebanon ran out to a 24-13 lead at halftime and poured it on in the second half for a 53-33 District 9-AAA victory at Portland Friday night.

Lebanon's K.K. Garnett knocked down three 3-pointers and led all scorers with 18 points.

LHS improved to 14-10 overall / 6-8 in the league headed into the regular season finale Monday night at White County High.
