Kramer places 5th in Super 32 Challenge
GREENSBORO, NC -- Wilson Central High wrestler Johnny Kramer earned a fifth place finish and All-America honors over the weekend at the prestigious Super 32 Challenge held at the Greensboro Special Events Center.

The TSSAA Class AAA 220-pound champion as a junior with a record of 62-2, Kramer is the only one of 10 Tennessee grapplers to have placed in the top eight since this event was founded in 2000.

Kramer, who went 5-2 in the two-day tournament, competed in a division that included eight state champions, four state runners-up and 10 all-staters.

The Super 32 Challenge marked the times since the end of last season that Kramer has earned All-America honors at a national invitational -- including taking the championship of the Brute Nationals in Independence, MO back in April and going a perfect 12-0 to claim the title of the Disney Duals in Orlando in June.

Wilson Central opens the 2014-2015 wrestling season Thursday, Nov. 20 by hosting the Wilson County Duals.

Wrestlers from Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Watertown will join the Wildcats on the mat.

Weigh-ins are at 6 p.m., matches start at 6 p.m.
