WC wrestlers improve to 12-0

'Cats pick up three wins Nov. 25 --
GLADEVILLE -- Wilson Central's wrestling team improved to 12-0 on the season with three wins Tuesday night, Nov. 25. The Wildcats blanked Nashville Hillwood 75-0, then knocked off Antioch 69-12 and region foe Clarksville High 56-15.

"After wrestling nine dual meets Thursday, Friday and Saturday of last week, the boys were a little tired but still pulled off the victories," said WCHS coach John Kramer. "That says a lot for our program that we can wrestle less than our best but still continue to win".

The match of the night was the 152-lb. bout between Central's Mike Binns and Clarksville's Clay Cook.

Going in, both wrestlers were ranked were ranked in the top six of the state.

Binns defeated Cook 18-7 earning seven take-downs in the match.
