Record breaking heat will continue Saturday and Sunday with afternoon high temperatures at 100+ degrees. The heat may cause heat related illnesses such as heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
Residents should try and stay inside an air-conditioned building and stay well hydrated. Also...the dry hot conditions will cause an elevated level of fire danger. Residents should not engage in outside burning and should also properly dispose of smoking materials. Temperatures will begin to slowly diminish for Monday and beyond.
