Wilson County baseball --
Mt. Juliet 4, Station Camp 3 (8 innings)
MT. JULIET -- Brayden Osborne's homer to lead off the bottom of the eighth inning handed Mt. Juliet a thrilling 4-3 victory over District 9-AAA rival Station Camp Wednesday.
The Bears (15-7 / 5-1) led 3-0 until SCHS tied the score with single runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh.
Dylan Bonds picked up the decision with two innings of hitless relief.
Aaron Brown finished with two hits including a solo homer. Aiden Raines had a double and two RBI.

DCA 5, Friendship 2
LEBANON -- Friendship Christian dropped to 16-8-1 on the season following a 5-2 loss to rival Donelson Christian Academy Wednesday.
The Wildcats took a 3-0 lead after two innings and finished with 10 hits against FCS pitching.
Freshman Justin Seagraves had two of Friendship's six hits and drove in a run.

Wilson Central 6, Lebanon 3
GLADEVILLE -- Cake and party hats were the last things on the mind of Wilson Central baseball coach Anthony Ford Wednesday as his Wildcats defeated District 9-AAA rival Lebanon 6-3.
His Wildcats made sure their coach enjoyed his birthday by rapping out timely hits and working around four errors against the Blue Devils.
"That was a good win," Ford said after the game, "we swung the bat pretty well tonight."
Senior pitcher Ryan Hill went six innings, scattering five hits and striking out four to earn the decision.
"Ryan didn't have his best stuff, so he had to really compete. Hats off to him for battling."
Lebanon took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second on an RBI ground out by Chase Birdwell.
Central answered with four in the bottom of the frame on singles by Dawson Hamilton, Gabe Jennings and Connor Sullivan.
WCHS (13-7 / 6-1 in 9-AAA) tacked on two more in the fifth as Chase Ford delivered an RBI double and Will Hudson singled in a run.
Hudson finished with three RBI while Ford drove in two on a pair of hits.
Lebanon (11-10 / 1-5) got a pair of hits from Eli McDearman and Luke Bradshaw.
The Blue Devils are scheduled to play at Mt. Juliet, Thursday, April 20 at 7 p.m.

MJ Christian sweeps TKA
MT. JULIET -- The Saints of Mt. Juliet Christian Academy improved to 14-7 overall and 5-3 in the East-Middle District 1-A with a doubleheader sweep of visiting The King's Academy Wednesday, April 19.
MJCA won the opener 10-0 as Cole Alsup struck out 11 and allowed just four hits.
Daniel Boehm ripped a two-run home run and Dawson Perry drove in a pair on a double and a single.
Wednesday's nightcap found the Saints winning 15-1 as Alex Pitman, Boehm and Tyler Blais split the pitching chores.
Perry hit a homer and drove in three runs.
MJCA will visit Knoxville Friday for a 3:30 p.m. doubleheader versus The Webb School.

Wilson County softball --
Beech 4, Wilson Central 2
GLADEVILLE -- Down 2-0 early, Beech rallied for a 4-2 District 9-AAA win at Wilson Central Wednesday.
WCHS (16-12-1 / 3-3) scored a pair in the bottom of the first on a two-run homer from Kaylee Richetto, then watched the Lady Bucs score one in the second, two in the third and one in the sixth.
Richetto went the distance and was tagged with the loss, surrendering 11 hits and striking out one.
The Lady Wildcats are scheduled to host Mt. Juliet Saturday at 4 p.m.
