Everyone is invited to join Lebanon Dialysis Clinic Inc. and the Meharry Medical College’s Clinical Research team for a Health & Wellness Expo from 8 a.m. until noon, Saturday, April 16, at Second Baptist Church, 323 West Adams Street, Lebanon.

Health education, maintenance of existing disease and free health screenings will be available.

According to officials at Lebanon DCI, 26 million Americans have Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and millions of others are at risk and don’t know it. CKD is a silent killer. People with diabetes or high blood pressure are at the greatest risk. Early detection can prevent the progression of kidney disease to kidney failure.

Lebanon DCI officials said they want to help you understand this disease, how it may be prevented and how you can get help. For more information, call 444-7955 or visit
