West Wilson Middle wins volleyball title

West Wilson Middle School volleyball

West Wilson Middle School's volleyball team wrapped up a 15-4 season Oct. 3 by winning the championship of the Wilson County Volleyball Association Conference tournament. WWMS defeated Mt. Juliet Middle School 3-0 in the finals, game scores: 19-25, 25-21 and 15-5.

Taylor Tucker was named tournament MVP and all-conference. Sara Wright, Bailey Kaposy and Baker Duncan were all named to the all-tournament team. The team is coached by Kaci Brown, assistant coach is Jackie Thompson.
