William Dumas Boles, 95

GORDONSVILLE -- Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, February 13 at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes for Mr. Boles, 95, of New Middleton.

Retired from Ross Gear Division of TRW Industries, Lebanon, he died Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Smith County Health Care Center, Carthage.

Mr. Boles was born January 31, 1914 in Overton County, the son of the late Myrtle Pigg and William Perry Boles. He was a farmer and was a member of the Flat Rock Church of Christ.

The family will receive friends Friday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Services will conducted by Wayne Hunt and Edward L. Anderson. Interment will follow in Brush Creek Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include children: T. S. (Barbara) Boles of Hawaii, Roger (Phyllis) Boles of Lebanon, Gail (Robert) Hall, Sherry Gentry and Doyle (Freda) Boles -- all of Watertown and Beverly (Dale) White of New Middleton.

Also surviving is daughter-in-law Jan Boles, son-in-law, James Shrum, 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren and brothers Robert Boles of Livingston and James Boles of Brush Creek.

Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
