Wilson Central will play for 5-AAA crown

Mt. Juliet boys eliminated
CLARKSVILLE -- Wilson Central's Wildcats ousted District 9-AAA rival Station Camp 46-38 in Tuesday's Region 5-AAA semifinal game at Rossview, earning a berth in the tournament championship as well as a spot in the TSSAA Sectional.

Three Wildcats scored in double figures including post man Ben Palmer and Jacob Williams -- 12 each, while Deante Miller chipped in with 10. Williams had a double-double, pulling down 10 rebounds.

District 9-AAA regular season champs, but a three-seed after the tournament, Wilson Central improved to 24-6 with the victory.

Kenwood 60, Mt. Juliet 38
An athletic Kenwood squads eliminated Mt. Juliet from postseason play Tuesday with a 60-38 win at Rossview High in the Region 5-AAA semifinals.

The game was tied at 12-all after one quarter, but Kenwood went on a 14-4 run in the second period to take control.

Reagan Johnson led the Golden Bears (18-13) with 18 points. John Mark Bell and Daniel Schroder each had eight in the loss.
