By Angel Kane  Mark your calendars for a summertime triple play on the grounds of WB&T’s Main Office as the Family Entertainment Series begins this May 27th! And once again this enjoyable event is free for the entire family.Entertainment starts a 6:30 with the Zach Allen Band performing on the grounds of WB&T‘s Main Office on West Main Street in Lebanon. Concessions will be on hand as will numerous activities for the children. Nashville Sound’s mascot Ozzie will also be at the festivities and there will be photo opportunities available. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs and picnic baskets because at dusk WB&T will entertain us all with the movie THE SANDALOT. And kids who wear their favorite baseball jersey or cap will receive a school bank coupon. It’s an event you don’t want to miss as both parents and children will enjoy the music, movies and memories. For more information about the series that will be held May 27th and then again June 17th and July 15th go to or call 444-BANK. And then on May 28th, get ready to start your engines as the 17th Annual Slammin & Jammin’ Car & Truck Show gets underway. Scheduled for the entire weekend, both locals and visitors will head out to the James E. Ward Agricultural Center to partake in this fun filled event. For more information call 1-423-623-4644. And we want to send out a special shout out to all the participants who attended this past Saturday’s first annual Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Wilson County 5k Walk/Fun-Run. Walker and runners enjoyed beautiful weather for the inaugural event. Several teams from around the county were on hand and walked for a cure that raised over $13,000.00 for the CF Foundation. The event was such a success that plans are already in the works  for next year’s walk! Of course, Wilson Living Magazine had a team on hand and we were overjoyed when our team members, Jacob Andrews and Noah Baker, placed 2nd and 3rd in the walk/fun run. As for the older members of our team…well, lets just say for some of us it wasn’t about winning …just finishing. But it was certainly a great day enjoyed by all!
