It looks like its going to be a soggy July 4 holiday weekend, in other words, as 2-4 inches of rain is expected in the watch area with some locations seeing up to 6 inches of rain. Flash flooding will be possible in areas receiving the heaviest rainfall, especially urban areas and other flood prone areas.
So far, all fireworks events set for July 4 in Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Watertown are still scheduled to be held.
In addition, scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue to affect Middle Tennessee through Tuesday, and localized flooding will remain possible.
