  Email   Print

Becky Jennings has been a part of Wilson Bank & Trust for the last nine years - and her work is not yet over.

As WB&T vice president and marketing director, Jennings said she enjoys "making a difference in the lives of people and in the communities we serve."

"I also find teaching and mentoring others on my marketing team worthwhile," she added.

Jennings has worked the majority of her adult life in Wilson County. Her father was in the Air Force and Jennings was born outside of Washington, D.C. However, at an early age - the family moved south to Tennessee.

Jennings has been married to husband, Allen Jennings, for 37 years. Their adult children included, Chrissy, 31; Kayla, 28, and her husband, Stephan, 31; Joshua, 24, and his wife, Cecilia, 22.

In her spare time, Jennings enjoys being with her family and dogs, as well as hobbies like singing and reading.

The woman Jennings admires the most is her mother. She called her the "hardest working woman I know."

"She suffers from Alzheimer's Disease now, but she is such a good example of never taking anything for granted. She never wanted anything given to her and always worked hard for everything. She always wanted her children to have the things she didn't have growing up," Jennings said. "She always made sure we knew how much she loved us."

Jennings said that her parents were great examples of a strong, steady work ethic.

"If I can be half the woman my Mother is, then I will have accomplished a great deal."
