To say Michelle Moore is busy, would be an understatement.
The wife and mother of two works professionally as an author, speaker and radio show host, where she gives advice on real estate, personal development and faith-based topics.
"It's my belief that we are all made with greatness down inside of us. The most rewarding part of my business is helping people overcome any self-limiting beliefs and recognize that potential inside them," she said.
Moore met her husband, Jeff, on a blind date. "It was set up by his younger brother, who happened to be a neighbor of mine," she explained.
"Jeff worked in Carthage when we met and I still worked in Nashville. After we got married, we moved to Lebanon because it was conveniently located for both of us," added Moore, who lived in Clarksville until the age of 14.
The Moores have two sons, Dillon, 12, and Carson, 10.
She makes it a priority to spend quality time with her family.
"While selling houses for a national home builder in 1999, my accomplishments were considerable and plenty; however, my personal life fell apart that year," she said. "Every important relationship suffered greatly. I neglected date nights with my husband, missed birthday parties of family members and friends and even much-needed days off were spent working instead of rejuvenating and taking care of myself and personal affairs. Thankfully, I learned the importance of balance prior to having my sons."
That quality time includes catching a good movie with her husband and boys. "It is my favorite thing to do," she said.
Other hobbies include playing cards and frequenting her favorite local eateries - Demo's in Lebanon and Olive Garden in Mt. Juliet.
Moore listed godly women as those she admires.
"These are women who are confident in who they are and in Whose they are, and they take the time to encourage others who are new in their spiritual walk," she said. "Life can be very busy, but those who stop to share their wisdom and knowledge - now those are women I admire."
