Need some hats? How about a bike? Artwork?
The Lebanon Senior Citizens Center has all of the above, and it will all be for sale on Saturday during their annual fundraiser.
Lebanon Senior Citizens Center Director Patti Watts said it is the third or fourth year they have held a summer yard sale to benefit the center. Typically, the yard sale is held outside of the center; however, with construction on their building expansion underway, the yard sale will be in the cool, air-conditioned building this year.
"Everything has been donated, and all of the money stays here at the center. Our fundraisers are part of our general budget," Watts explained. "The money we raise goes to our operational costs and also to the expansion."
The expansion project will add 3,400 square feet to the current 11,000-square-foot building off Castle Heights Avenue next door to the Jimmy Floyd Family Center.
The yard sale will begin on Saturday at 7 a.m. and last until 2 p.m. Sausage biscuits will be sold for $1.
