Youth baseball, softball registration under way

Lebanon Youth Baseball registration
Online registration for Spring / Summer Lebanon Youth Baseball for boys ages 9-12 is underway at www.lebanonyouthbaseball.net.

In person registration will be held Saturday, Jan. 25 at Wilson County Motors on Hartmann Drive between the hours of 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tryouts will be held Saturday, Feb. 15 at two locations in the Baird Park Complex.

11-12’s with last names beginning with A-M will meet at the Lebanon Rotary Field between 10 am - 12 Noon. Players with last names beginning with N-Z will report between 1-3 pm.

9-10’s with last named beginning with A-M will meet at the Lebanon Kiwanis Field between 10 am - 12 Noon. Players with last names beginning with N-Z will report between 1-3 pm.

Players should be dressed in baseball attire, including cap, and a glove. In case of inclement weather 11-12’s will tryout at the Greer Recreation Center. 9-10’s will tryout at the Castle Heights Elementary gym. Sneakers will be required for indoor tryouts.

MJ League registration
The Mt. Juliet League for youth baseball / softball will hold on-site registration for the Spring 2014 season Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Mt. Juliet Middle School cafeteria.

Registration times are 9 a.m.-2 p.m. both days. Cost  is $130 per player for the t-ball, 5 and up leagues in baseball and the t-ball 5/6 and up leagues in softball. Cost for four year-old t-ball is $90 per player. Online registration is available at www.mjleague.org. Contact Robin Speight at mtjulietleague@tds.net for more information.

LGSA registration
Lebanon Girls Softball Association signups will be Saturday, Jan. 25 between the hours of 9 a.m.-12 Noon at the league clubhouse in the Baird Park complex for girls ages 4-14.Online registration is currently available at www.lebanongirlssoftball.com. Call Wayne Oakley 305-4590 for information on this fastpitch league.
